We’re the refrigerated courier of the year
It’s time for everyone at Courier Express to celebrate, as we have been named ‘Refrigerated Courier of the Year’ at the 2018 Temperature Controlled Storage & Distribution (TCS&D) Awards.
It’s the third time we have scooped the prestigious title, having previously been crowned in 2013 and 2016.
The annual TCS&D Awards are managed by the eponymous publication, bringing together the great and the good from the world of refrigerated transport and storage. This includes companies and individuals connected to the temperature-sensitive food industry.
We were commended for our attention to detail and quality of deliveries, alongside the company’s high level of customer service, for which we were shortlisted for a separate TCS&D Award.
The award win is the latest story in a successful year for Courier Express, with significant investment and expansion both on and off the road.
Our fleet grew significantly to manage growing customer demand. A Mercedes Benz 3.5 tonne dual temperature vehicle was added at the start of the year, with a further two 7.5 tonne multi-temperature vehicles arriving in the summer.
Away from the vehicles, we also invested in a new website, to provide all new and existing customers with a better user experience, allowing individuals to receive a quick quote for any refrigerated transport requirement.
We also increased the number of hubs we have throughout the UK, expanding our service for customers in the Midlands, South East and North West in order to manage foodservice, pharmaceutical, product sample, and specialised goods deliveries.
